Dr. Lubna Somjee

Dr. Somjee launched her business with a vision to apply science and best practices to effect change and growth for people and organizations.

As an executive coach and consultant, she leverages her understanding of organizational functioning, leadership, and business psychology to maximize profession/leadership growth working with emerging leaders to the c-suite. Additionally, Dr. Somjee serves as an actionable thought partner to help develop vibrant teams and boards to stay ahead of the curve and tackle challenges. Specialized areas include using a bespoke design thinking model to assess and address organizational issues, working with professionals of color to navigate challenges in professional spaces, and partnering with companies to establish diverse + inclusive work environments.

Dr. Somjee is also a licensed psychologist, a member of the division of Consulting Psychology (American Psychological Association) and the associate editor of the Consulting Psychology Journal. She is also a member of the Alexcel Group, an international alliance of highly experienced consultants and executive coaches who serve a variety of industries, including Fortune 500 companies.

Between her work and significant time volunteering, she has received numerous awards for her contributions to leadership, diversity, healthcare, and advocacy efforts. Additionally, Dr. Somjee is sought out to speak to audiences about leadership, the workplace, diversity and inclusion, and psychology.
